Terms of Service

Welcome to Flash Cache. We like to keep things simple: we provide the temporary storage, and you provide the data. By using our API, you’re agreeing to these rules.

1. What we do

Flash Cache is for temporary data storage. Think of us as a digital whiteboard—useful for a moment, but not meant to be a permanent home for your life’s work.

2. What you can’t store

To keep our service safe and fast, we have some "no-go" zones. You must not use Flash Cache to store:

  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII): No names, home addresses, or private IDs
  • Credentials: Do not store usernames, PIN's, passwords, API Keys, Auth Tokens etc.
  • Payment Details: No credit card numbers or bank info (we aren’t PCI compliant!)
  • Illegal Content If it’s illegal to own or share in your neck of the woods (or ours), it doesn’t belong here
  • Large BLOBs: There is a strictly enforced maximum size of 5,000 bytes per object

3. Playing by the rules

If we find illegal content on our servers, we won't delete it. We'll make inaccessible and we will report and provide it to the police or relevant law enforcement agencies. We take this seriously to keep the internet a decent place.

4. Our "As-Is" policy

We try our best to keep the lights on 24/7, but we don't offer a 100% guarantee. Because this is temporary storage, we aren't responsible if data is lost or cleared. Always keep a backup of anything important!
